The past several years brought a constant barrage of changes in patent law, between proposed new legislation, new USPTO filing procedures and Supreme Court activity at a rate not seen in decades. Intellectual Property Shareholder Brent Yamashita will offer his insights during a panel at the PLI program, “Patent Law Institute 2026: Critical Issues & Best Practices New York.”
Brent will lead the session, “USPTO Rules and Procedures,” covering recent policy and procedure changes as well as recent revisions to the Manual of Patent Examining Procedure.
